Fred Hammond Feels He’s Not A “King’s Men”
Back in July we told you Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Israel Houghton, who are now known collectively as the “King’s Men” will hit major venues in 15 U.S. cities. Many wondered what happened to Fred Hammond why wasn’t he included in the Kings Men Tour.
Collectively “The King’s Men” Kirk , Donnie , Marvin and Israel have taken home over a hundred GRAMMY,Dove, Stellar, BET, Soul Train, NAACP and American Music Awards. They have appeared on countless mainstream television shows and moved millions of fans at their sold-out live concerts nationally and internationally. Producers for The King’s Men Tour approached Kirk Franklin about possibly headlining and they ask for his help in putting together a line up. Here’s were the situation gets tricky. Kirk reached out to Donnie , Marvin and Israel about possible joining him on tour. Both Marvin and Israel replied yes which was smart because both have a brand new CD’s out this year but, it was Donnie who was on the fence about doing a tour. So why didn’t Kirk ask Fred Hammond instead of pleading with Donnie?
A source from Fred Hammond camp told us it came down to a battle of the bands.”It was like a scene from the movie Drumline. The reason Fred was left out from the tour was because of his house band”. Kirk Franklin house band (who’s incredible by the way) is the The King’s Men Tour house band. Whether Fred Hammond is doing a show locally or internationally he always travels with his band. In my option The King’s Men Tour needs Fred Hammond and he should of been able to bring his band along with him after all he has received GRAMMYs ,Doves, Stellar’s, BETs, Soul Train, NAACP and American Music Awards just like Kirk , Donnie , Marvin and Israel. Fred have appeared on countless mainstream television shows and moved millions of fans at his sold-out live concerts nationally and internationally. How selfish of Kirk to not consider Fred to be honest both Marvin and Israel got there start into gospel music from the help of Fred Hammond.

Well, I don’t know how much of this is actually true, but Kirk should have had John P. Kee, Fred, and Donnie because they are the real King’s men!!! Those are just my thoughts.
John P Kee cant saleout a concert on his own. Why in the world would they pick him
